The client and the challenge
Nice Shopping is the official downtown Nice retailers association: dozens of independent shops united to energise local commerce. Its digital storefront was its Instagram account. And that account was lost, along with its whole community. Any organisation's nightmare scenario: starting again from zero followers, no advertising history, no data, with an association's budget, not a national brand's. The goal set together: rebuild a community of 10,000 followers in one year.
What we understood
Rebuilding a local audience is not about posting more, but about designing the account as a complete system. Three goals had to advance together: awareness (so Nice residents see the brand exist again), followers (rebuilding the asset), and traffic (keep serving the retailers during the rebuild). With a limited budget, every euro had to be allocated, measured, arbitrated.
What we did
A tightly managed Meta setup, with a deliberate budget split between awareness, follower acquisition and traffic. On the creative side, a counter-intuitive and winning choice: rather than polished big-brand visuals, UGC formats and simple visuals, in the codes of Nice's retailer community. Real, local, recognisable. Then twelve months of discipline: one always-on campaign, activations on commercial highlights, and constant adjustments guided by the numbers. This case mirrors another one: the Corso, Cap 3000's luxury area, where the same method serves a radically different positioning.

Losing your account is not losing your community. The community lives in the city; the account is only where you gather it.
